mooVmoo was born of the same mother as invention: necessity.
The necessity for a decent editing platform for mobile video clips that your average person could understand and afford.
We are 3 founders: DP, Mark & Luis; all of whom engage in various levels of casual video recording, be it on a GoPro, iPhone or 5D. Over recent years, thanks to our smartphones, we had all amassed a huge amount of content on our hard-drives and although we know how to edit, finding the time around our careers and lifestyles to edit all the various occasions and holidays together was almost impossible.
We had resorted to various apps in the hopes of resuscitating our video libraries with ease, but all of these led to even further frustration, and the realisation that no software package or algorithm can ever edit video quite like the human eye.
Thus, like so many successful start-ups, we went in search of our solution – in the pub.
Many months of thinking, talking, testing and tasting have bought us to here, where we now have what we believe to be a very simple time saving editing solution for anyone to use, that provides a very professional product, at a cost that only the customer decides.
Our team of editors are real people, based all over the world, who have years of experience editing feature films, tv documentaries, and of course home movies.
Our hope is that mooVmoo will evolve and grow to the extent of having a critical mass of users and editors to drive the price down even further, bring employment to more and more global editors and hopefully, some day soon, turn around your mooVies within just 24 hours. .
